Power of the AARP Older Voter

By Gavin | July 30, 2019

We're outside of the pizza ranch in Ames on our second stop on the national launch of AARP voter activation for 2018.

We have a 16 city tour that we're going to be going on throughout May, where we're engaging with AARP volunteers all across the state getting them hyped up about the midterm elections and talking about the power.

Responses from serious questions

I don't know about you, but I get pretty tired of the bumper sticker, kind of responses from serious questions from our members and others. When we talk to candidates and for people who hold political office, and we talk about issues of impact and issues of importance to the 50-plus, and we get nothing but pablum that would fit on the bumper sticker on the back of the car.

We're engaging the members engaging the public, engaging the 50-plus to begin showing up where those candidates and where those public offices are, and starting to dig into the solution throughout the country.

Hope you'll join us when we are near, you go to AARP not works like I hate, and get a full listing, the events, the state or in Carroll.
